About the Author
don Miguel Ruiz was born into a family of healers, and raised in rural Mexico by a curandera (healer) mother and a nagual (shaman) grandfather. The family anticipated that Miguel would embrace their centuries-old legacy of healing and teaching, and carry forward the esoteric Toltec knowledge. Instead, distracted by modern life, Miguel chose to attend medical school and become a surgeon. A near-death experience changed his life. Stunned by this experience, he began an intensive practice of self-inquiry. He devoted himself to the mastery of the ancient ancestral wisdom, studying earnestly with his mother, and completing an apprenticeship with a powerful shaman in the Mexican desert. Este libro lo compre hace un par de anios, lo lei y olvide poner en practica los cuatro acuerdos, ahora lo mantengo cerca de mi para mantenerme en forma con la vida, lo que me gusta de don Miguel Ruiz es que su estilo de escribir es claro preciso conciso, no lo alarga como otros libros que me resulta dificil terminar debido a su grosor, Don Ruiz va al grano y te hace entender de una manera facil los comunes errores que cometemos en nuestro diario vivir que nos conducen a la infelicidad y amargura, deseo tener toda su collecion ya que es de vital importancia que entienda a ser feliz de una manera practica y sin complicaciones. y tomar los desafios con una atitud positiva.
Este ha sido el mejor libro de superacion personal que he leido y creo que todo el mundo necesita leerlo. Mas que leerlo colocar en practica lo que dice y hacer los ejercicios que Don Miguel sugiere es super importante. Este libro es para leerlo mas de una vez! Totalmente recomendado!!!
I read this book about 4 years ago and I still sometimes reread it. I bought it 3 times after mine. One for my friend and one for my mom and one for my mother in law. This book helped changed my life. If you're anything like I use to be, such as take things personal, always assuming things bad things, always taking things personal when you shouldn't, then this is a book for you. I mean I still read it because sometimes I still make assumptions or take things personal and I need a little reminder.Yo lei este libro ase 4 anos y todavia lo leo embeces. Lo e comprado come 3 veces despues de todavia tener el mio. Uno para una amia, mama, y suegra. El libro me cambio mi vida.
